Winnie the Pooh was a prophetic bloke...
Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh," he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw, "I just wanted to be sure of you."
"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit.
"No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."
"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best -- " and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called”
“Poetry and Hums aren't things which you get, they're things which get you. And all you can do is go where they can find you.”
Wow, Pooh. You sure know a lot.

I've been wretched. Although I'd love to use the fact that I've been busy in just arriving and everything as an excuse for not having done anything on y list for a while, I can't. I'm terrible. Right now, though, I really just want to focus on making myself happy here in the UK so I'm trying to find things that are going to do that for me. So far it isn't very successful. I'm saying that because all the people that would be disappointed in me for being unhappy about this amazing opportunity don't read this blog, or like to think they do, but they don't. So, basically, I'm saying this to you Kaitlin. I'm sorry I haven't been trying on my list but I'd really just like to find my groove here. It's not working yet but I'll keep trying.
I miss everyone so much. Especially a few people and I'm having trouble with it but hopefully, classes will start soon and all will be well. We'll see.
I think, also, I'll start posting just a symbol ( *#@#) when I've been on here to just to prove to you all that I am checking in often and let you know I'm alright. Anyway.

I have been sucking most absolutely on my list and getting ready for Europe is going to prove more difficult than I thought originally. I will try harder to hold myself accountable for the things that I am not or have not been doing on my list. I'm making a list today of things that I need to get done before and in preparation of leaving the country and post it a bit later.
